WDG Publishing wins 2011Axiom Business Book Awards Gold Medal
WDG Publishing has been awarded the Gold medal for the 2010 title, Rockwell Collins: 75 Years of Innovation. The title was awarded the Gold Medal in the category of Corporate History/Milestone. The pictorial history of the first 75 years of Collins Radio Company and Rockwell Collins, Inc. was written by Kennard C. Braband and Bernard J. Smith. Rockwell Collins, Inc. was founded by Arthur A. Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and incorporated in 1933. There will be an awards celebration in
New York in May.
The Axiom Business Book Awards annually celebrate excellence in business book writing and publishing by presenting gold, silver and bronze medals in 20 business categories. The annual awards contest is designed to bring increased recognition to the year’s best business books and their creators.
The goal of the awards is to celebrate the innovative, intelligent, and creative aspects of the books that make us think, see, and work differently every day.
