2010 Scholarships

As part of our ongoing commitment to education, AAF plans to give away two $250 scholarships this season. If you will be entering a college in Eastern Iowa for the 2010-2011 school year and will be a full-time student in advertising, marketing, broadcasting or a related field, you are eligible to apply, deadline is May 10th. 2008 Scholarships Recipients

Shauna Flesch will be a senior at the University of Iowa. She is majoring in Communication Studies and Mass Communication. She's also a second year Resident Assistant and a member of the Dean's Student Advising Committee.

Yunna Wu will also be a senior at the University of Iowa. Yunna is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Mass Communications and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Yunna is also a member of Women in Business and a board member of Student Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT). She also participated in the AAF mentorship program.

2007 Scholarship Recipients

Breanne Wiggins from Jefferson High School will enter her freshman year at the University of Iowa in fall 2007. She is majoring in marketing and music.

Also in 2007, Ashley Davis will continue pursing her major in communication studies at the University of Iowa. Rachel will be a senior.

2006 Scholarship Recipients

Erica Langland of Coe College will enter her senior year in fall 2006. She is majoring in public relations and business administration.

Also in fall 2006, Rachel Schmidt of Coe College will continue her major studies in business administration with a marketing emphasis and minor studies in economics and spanish . Rachel will be a senior.

2005 Scholarship Recipients

Nathan Klein of Mount Mercy College will enter his junior year in fall 2005. He is majoring in marketing, management and accounting. He is involved in many organizations on campus including Captain of the men's soccer team and president of the Student Government Association, Class of 2007 and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).

Shayla Hall of Jefferson High School will study business administration at Kirkwood Community College in fall 2005. She has an interest in retail and apparel management. Hall is involved in the DECA program, an association of marketing students, where she participated in many projects and competitions. Congratulations and good luck to Shayla and Nathan!
